Why Buy A Bell Tent?
Bell tents have become one of the UK’s favourite tents and are popular for family holidays, festivals, parties, wedding and weekend getaways. With the choice to holiday in Britain becoming a family favourite, here’s our thoughts on why to buy a Bell Tent.

Choosing your perfect tent
We can all spend ages researching the perfect size and specification for our glamping style or size of family. This useful size guide can be helpful when planning your ideal tent purchase.
A 4 metre bell tent would work for 3/4 people but this would be mainly just for sleeping, but obviously you would find the 5 metre has more space for all the other items that invariably come with us camping.

Future proofing the tent for the kids may mean purchasing a 5 metre Bell Tent, or some people start with a 4 metre and move up in later years when they want the space. Whichever you go for won’t cause issue. The 5m would be more luxurious for days when you spend more time in the tent and the kids are playing.

The space in a standard 5m Bell Tent allows you to incorporate a double bed and 2 single beds if you are holidaying with children. Most of the tents also have the added option of purchasing and zipped inner bedroom if you are camping with friends and need a little privacy. There’s plenty of room for chairs, cushions, and even a wood burning stove on some of the models that have fire retardant flue flaps pre installed. The tents are quick and easy to put up, and most models can be easily erected in under 20 minutes by one person.

Choosing you colour
Whilst traditional bell tents are beige and cream and made from 100% cotton canvas, you can also find colourful and striped alternatives. If you fancy something really different you can really stand out from the crowd!  Do remember that due to the exposure to the elements the colours and patterns may fade over time.

Pimping out your Bell Tent
Once you have decided on the right size, the groundsheet type and the colour, it’s time to then think about how you want it to look and feel inside. The whole idea of glamping is to bring glamour and comfort to camping; and having a bell tent is the perfect pace to do so.

Whether you are using your bell tent for weekend breaks, summer holidays, parties, festivals or weddings, you can get a whole host of essential accessories to create the perfect atmosphere – enjoy!

Enjoying your new tent
Owning a bell tent gives you the freedom to holiday or impromptu weekend breaks whenever and wherever you choose. Not only can you discover new and exciting places to stay, it also gives you a great opportunity to meet and make new friends too – what more can you ask for?
